1. The group assembles and reads background information on the Barn Owl, and its relation to the food chain.

2. Roles are assigned and materials are collected, measurements are taken on the pellet itself.

3. The pellet is disected, and organic material (feathers, leaves, etc.) is sorted away from the hard evidence (bones, ectoskeletons, etc.).

4. The hard evidence is classified, and then attached to a paper.

5. Collective data is taken, as conclusions are made from the analyses of the data.

6. The information is assembled in web format, and printed, for reference.
